The Opportunity
We are seeking an organised, welcoming, and professional Receptionist to join our growing team. This position offers flexibility with either full-time or 0.8 FTE (part-time) hours available to suit the right candidate.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the practice while contributing to a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide warm, professional service to clients in person, by phone, and via email
* Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders
* Process client payments, Medicare claims, and invoicing
* Maintain accurate and confidential client records
* Provide administrative support to clinicians and management
* Assist with general office duties to maintain an efficient workplace
About You
Essential:
* Previous experience in reception, administration, or customer service
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
* Proficiency in practice management software, Microsoft Office, and digital systems
* Compassionate, professional, and client-focused approach
Highly Regarded
* Previous experience working in mental health or allied health settings
* Familiarity with practice management software, particularly Halaxy
* Experience with Medical Objects
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
