We are currently seeking skilled and professional staff to join our Art Gallery team as Art Gallery Assistants. Key responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a highly presentable and welcoming reception area, and assisting in the daily operation of the Gallery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the daily operation of the Gallery and provide customer service duties always ensuring a highly presentable and welcoming reception.
* Provide a courteous and effective service to the visiting public including information about exhibitions and public programs and addressing enquiries.
* Provide invigilation for the Gallery including exhibitions, weekends and some out-of-hours duties for events and public programs.
* Administrative duties associated with the role.
The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in the Arts, Gallery or Museum sectors, along with excellent customer service skills. They will also hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and have experience in retail sales and familiarity with MYOB accounting software.
