The Position Skilled Medical currently has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Medical Officer in Clinical Trials to undertake a permanent position in a clinical trials research centre in Melbourne. This organisation facilitates phase 1 clinical trials for majority overseas pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the treatment of a variety of medical conditions. The position offers a negotiable salary (based on years of experience) and a stable roster (weekdays with a shared weekend roster). This role will support the Medical Operations Manager, with training of the Medical Officers, rostering etc. The Location Melbourne. Essential Criteria Doctors must hold general registration with AHPRA. Minimum 1 year clinical trials experience. Relevant GCP training within past 2 years. Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team (clinical and non-clinical staff). The Package This position offer a base of around $150,000 plus superannuation, which is negotiable depending on experience level. Additional penalty rates apply for this position for evenings (112.5%), weekends (125%) and Public Holidays (125%).
