Financial Specialist Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for shaping our region's financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver services related to rates and charges, including water consumption and associated usage accounts.
* Maintain and operate the Rating Module, Water Billing Module, and Name and Address Register.
* Evaluate land valuations to ensure accuracy with the Valuer General's data.
* Issue rate notices, supplementary rate notices, and quarterly instalment notices in a timely manner.
* Reconcile rate levied with the Rate Ledger, General Ledger, and Valuation Register.
* Process Notice of Sales and Transfer documents from Land and Property Information NSW.
Requirements:
* Certificate III in Business, Finance, or relevant discipline.
* Experience in Accounts Receivable processes, demonstrating proficiency.
* Excellent customer service skills, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, meeting deadlines.
* Proficient knowledge and experience in using PC-based office application software, particularly Microsoft applications like Word and Excel.
