Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,800 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south-eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

We are currently seeking to appoint a Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinator (Primary School) for 2025. This is a government-funded whole-school position based at our Drouin campus.
The Mental Health & Wellbeing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the health and wellbeing curriculum as per the Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) initiative funded by the Victorian Government.
Ensuring that the health and wellbeing area is well administered, and that curriculum is planned and delivered
Providing overall coordination of the health and wellbeing area of the curriculum
Overseeing the development of written programs and curriculum, ensuring that the curriculum is planned and taught from a Christian worldview perspective
Demonstrated commitment to the school's Statement of Faith
Well informed of current educational practices and philosophies both within the Christian school movement and alternative education systems
Highly competent teacher who demonstrates leadership in the specified curriculum areas
Ability to build strong partnering relationships and communication channels with staff members
Successful applicants will need to be in agreement with and model Chairo's Statement of Faith.
