CLUB MANAGER – Sporties Club Inc (Tennant Creek, NT)
Full-Time | Housing Supplied (Off-Site)
Sporties Club Inc is seeking an experienced and capable Club Manager to lead daily operations at our well-established community venue in Tennant Creek. This full-time role offers the chance to make a genuine impact in a regional hospitality setting, with off-site housing included in the employment package.
A minimum of 1-2 years of club or hospitality management experience is required.
About the Role
The Club Manager is responsible for the overall management and compliance of Sporties Club Inc. You will report to the Club's volunteer committee and oversee staff, venue operations, gaming and bar compliance, community engagement, and financial reporting.
Australian work rights (citizenship or permanent residency) are required for this position.
We are seeking someone with strong leadership skills, excellent operational knowledge, and the ability to connect with both staff and the broader Tennant Creek community.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of the Club including bar, gaming, staffing, and admin
* Supervise and support staff including recruitment, rostering, and payroll
* Ensure compliance with NT liquor and gaming laws, RSA and WHS obligations
* Current RSA certification is required at the time of application
* Act as the Licensed Nominee under NT Liquor Licensing legislation
* Provide regular reporting to the Club Committee including financial and operational updates
* Manage stock control, budgeting, and supplier relationships
* Develop and implement marketing, events, and promotional initiatives
* Maintain strong relationships with members, community groups, and sponsors

Sporties Club Inc is a family-friendly community club in Tennant Creek, NT, with over 800 members. We offer a licensed bar, gaming, televised sports, weekly raffles, and seasonal events. Amos Restaurant operates independently onsite, offering lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday. The Club is proud to support local sports teams, charities, and community organisations and events.
