Senior ICT Project Delivery Role (EL1 Equivalent)

This Federal Government Agency is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new Enterprise Service Management (ESM) workflow solution, one of the organisation's highest‑priority modernisation initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of technical literacy, structured project management discipline, strategic communication, and the ability to operate within a vendor‑delivered environment.
The successful candidate will exhibit strong professional and technical expertise in implementing enterprise platforms, applying rigorous governance frameworks, and ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality expectations. You will work closely with business areas, internal technical teams, and delivery partners to cultivate effective working relationships and deliver a scalable, integrated capability that lifts service delivery maturity across the organisation.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills to promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Communicate clearly and persuasively with diverse stakeholders.Mentor and support junior staff to build capability in project delivery practices.Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders and assume accountability for high‑impact ICT effectively, resolve complex issues and influence outcomes.Demonstrate experience in agile methodologies and contemporary ICT project management approaches.Hold relevant qualifications and/or experience in portfolio, program or project management (highly regarded).Hold a current Baseline security clearance (minimum).What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you will have; Demonstrated experience in project/program management, including agile project management processes and methodologies.Experience providing strategic advice to senior management, and leading projects of strategic or operational significance.Ability to design, plan and communicate high‑level delivery plans for ICT change initiatives aligned with organisational mentoring junior staff and supporting capability uplift across project or delivery teams.Relevant qualifications or experience in portfolio, program or project management (highly regarded).Current Baseline Clearance (minimum) is you'll get in return
In return, you will get an initial contract until 30/06/27 with a further possible 2 x 6-month extensions.
