* On-site Requirement:3 days in the office per week
* Why On-site?This is a highly collaborative position involving regular face-to-face workshops and close team interaction, making in-office presence essential.
What's the role?
As a Product Owner (Customer/Product Origination and Customer Migration), you are responsible for shaping and delivering customer‐centred solutions that maximise business value within an Agile delivery environment. You will apply Design Thinking and Customer‐Centred Design principles to deeply understand customer needs, using data, insights and experimentation to inform priorities. By leveraging techniques such as personas, journey mapping and prototyping, you will collaborate with cross‐functional teams to explore, test and refine solutions that are viable, feasible and valuable.
You will support Data Transformation and Delivery by actively managing the workstream backlog. This includes defining milestones and deliverables, refining and prioritising work based on value, risk and dependencies, and making day‐to‐day prioritisation decisions in partnership with delivery and design teams.
You will lead adaptive planning and value‐driven prioritisation, maintain a clear product vision while respond to change as new information emerges. Lean Thinking principles will guide your approach, ensuring efficient flow, elimination of waste and a strong focus on delivering usable outcomes aligned to customer demand. You will actively measure value using recognised techniques and metrics, linking delivery to benefits realisation.
Working within Agile frameworks, you will support iterative delivery, promote transparency and alignment, and model agile values through servant leadership, collaboration and accountability, fostering high‐performing, self‐organising teams.
What do I need?
* Experience working within the financial services industry, with a good knowledge of customer, regulatory and risk considerations.
* Strong banking domain knowledge across Customer Origination and Servicing and Product Origination, with hands‐on experience to customer migration activities.
* Solid understanding of software delivery fundamentals, including supporting data and customer migration and managing associated risks.
* Experience working in large, complex organisations, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and understand different business perspectives.
* Experience in complex data initiatives, including data migration and customer migration, with a focus on risk management, continuity of service and customer outcomes.
* Experience working in an Agile delivery environment as a Product Owner or similar role, supporting backlog, prioritisation and delivery activities.
* Working knowledge of product management practices, including Design Thinking and Customer‐Centred Design.
* Strong understanding of Agile principles and common Agile practices, including Scrum.
* Ability to identify features and write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, with Product Owner or Scaled Agile certifications considered an advantage.
