Sales/Warehouse Assistant - Senior PositionRetail | Full Time | Mackay, QLDWe are currently seeking a full-time sales/warehouse assistant to join our team. Responsibilities include supporting sales and warehouse teams, managing inventory, fulfilling orders accurately and promptly, contributing to sales targets and business objectives, and providing exceptional customer service. The store operates 7 days a week; availability to work every third weekend on a rotating roster is required. The position is based in Mackay, QLD.Hours:Monday - Friday: 8:35am - 5:10pmSaturday: 8:40am - 2:10pmSunday: 9:35am - 1:10pm(Every third weekend)Key Responsibilities:Assist with inventory managementHandle cash, process payments and returnsSupport sales efforts, including up-selling and cross-sellingStock, merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness and organizationAssist in training new employees and support other departments as neededProvide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, assisting with product searches, answering questions, and resolving complaintsDemonstrate willingness to learn and dedication to accuracyExperience with inventory control processesMaintain professionalism and uphold a positive reputationPossess strong customer service skillsExhibit excellent time management, organizational, and technical skillsCommunicate effectively with staff, customers, and managementWork collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with experience in merchandising, inventory management, or visual display preferredPerform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various temperature conditions typical of warehouse environmentsAbout W.
