My client is a leading large format retailer with a growing network of stores across the country. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Leasing Manager to lead in the delivery of their expansion of new sites to its growing national and international portfolio.
As the Leasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the leasing process. You will work closely with the real estate team to identify potential locations, negotiate leases, and secure the best possible terms for the business. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with landlords, brokers, and other stakeholders in the real estate industry.
**Your Position**
- Identify potential locations for new stores and assess their suitability for the business
- Negotiate leases and other real estate agreements, ensuring the best possible terms are secured
- Maintain strong relationships with landlords, brokers, and other stakeholders in the real estate industry
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the real estate market, including trends, opportunities, and challenges
- Engaging and working with lawyers to facilitate lease agreements, extensions and other relevant legal advices
- Working with internal and external facility managers to facilitate maintenance and capital upgrades
**Your Experience**
- Minimum 5+ Years Experience in large format retail leasing or industrial leasing
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal processes / requirements and understanding of leases & legislation.
- Strong negotiating and problem solving skills.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Strong research, analysis skills and due diligence skills when it comes to making recommendations.
- The ability to work as part of a growing team and be willing to collaborate across all functions of the business.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role on a national scale.
- Current open drivers license essential
- Travel will be required from time to time
