This organisation was established in 1966 and is a non‐profit charitable organisation where local staff serve in partnership with international volunteers to build capacity in the sectors of health and development working together in hope for the welfare of the people.
Responsibilities
You will train national ophthalmologists in specific evaluation and treatment techniques such as vitreoretinal surgery, PKP/LKP prosthetic implantation, the evaluation and treatment of retinoblastoma chemotherapy and laser therapy, orbit blow-out fracture surgery, paediatric ophthalmology, glaucoma and vitro‐retina surgery.
Qualifications
You will hold a medical qualification with a specialisation in ophthalmology. You will have experience of or an interest in working in resource-limited healthcare settings.
