Financial Transformation Project Manager
This is a senior role that supports a major financial transformation program within an asset-heavy environment.
You will play a pivotal role in driving improved financial governance, reporting and controls, while working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance financial capability across the organisation.
The role is critical to advancing maturity in financial management. You will provide expert guidance, implement improved financial processes, and deliver meaningful insights to uplift performance.
* Design and implement improved financial management frameworks, tools, and reporting structures;
* Provide subject matter expertise in budgeting, forecasting, capitalisation, and financial governance;
* Analyse financial data to support executive decision-making and audit responses;
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and drive capability uplift;
* Develop project documentation such as process maps, business cases, and performance reports;
* Support change management, capability development, and cross-functional engagement.
Key Requirements
* Extensive financial management experience in infrastructure or asset-heavy industries;
* Strong understanding of financial governance and accounting standards;
* Proven experience in financial transformation, not just BAU operations;
* Proficiency in financial tools such as Excel, ERP systems, and Power BI;
* Strong analytical and communication skills with a focus on practical outcomes;
* A hands-on, collaborative and proactive work style.
