About the role

Join Barwon Health's Drug and Alcohol Services (DAS) as a Senior Clinician and take on a leadership role supporting the delivery of integrated, person-centred care for people experiencing both mental health and substance use challenges.

You'll work across MHDAS to strengthen AOD capability, provide expert clinical input, and lead quality improvement initiatives that make a real difference to consumers, families and the broader community.

In this role, you will:

* Provide advanced clinical leadership in the implementation of integrated treatment, care and support (ITCS).
* Deliver primary AOD treatment aligned to your clinical expertise.
* Offer secondary consultation and build strong linkages across mental health programs.
* Contribute to workforce capability building and service improvement across MHDAS.
* Provide discipline-specific supervision and support the development of students and early-career clinicians.

About the facility

The Drug and Alcohol Services (DAS) team is part of Barwon Health's Mental Health, Drugs and Alcohol Services (MHDAS). DAS provides evidence-based, recovery-oriented treatment and support for people experiencing substance use or addiction, often alongside mental health challenges.

MHDAS is the leading public mental health service for the Barwon region, recognised for delivering high-quality, person-centred care through strong partnerships with local communities and service providers.

The service works across a range of community and inpatient settings, offering integrated care in collaboration with consumers, families, and other MHDAS programs. DAS is a respected and evolving service that values innovation, partnership, and person-centred practice contributing to a holistic approach to wellbeing across the Barwon region.
