The Opportunity
At Infinite Aged Care, our Housekeeping Assistants play a vital role in creating positive daily experiences for our residents. Working and reporting to the Hotel Services Team Leader, you will be responsible to support the overall well‐being and dignity of our residents by delivering high-quality cleaning services that meet hygiene and infection control standards, contributing to a homelike and welcoming atmosphere across all areas of the care home.
About the Role
In this hands‐on, fast‐paced role, you will:
* Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, lounges, dining areas, and hallways.
* Follow all infection prevention and hygiene protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
* Maintain work areas in a clean, safe, and hazard‐free condition.
* Work collaboratively with the team, showing initiative, common sense and a willingness to help others.
* Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for residents, making every interaction meaningful.
physically active role requiring daily bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing. You must be able to perform these tasks safely to protect yourself, your team, and our residents.

About You
* Previous experience in a laundry, cleaning, or similar support role.
* A warm, friendly and compassionate approach, with a genuine desire to support and engage with our residents.
* Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to follow procedures and communicate clearly with your team.
* Proactive in supporting residents in dining areas, helping to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard‐free environment.
* A confident problem‐solver who can work independently, take initiative and adapt in a fast‐paced setting.
* Reliable, hardworking, flexible and with good availability to cover a variety of shifts.
