Support Worker Role
Join our team as a Support Worker and play a vital role in providing high-quality, therapeutic care to young people in residential settings.
As a Support Worker, you will be the primary caregiver, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and rights of each young person are always protected. With empathy, respect, and professionalism, you will support each individual's unique needs and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide therapeutic care to young people in residential settings
* Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and rights of each young person
* Support each individual's unique needs and development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant recognised qualification
* Current first aid level 2 (including CPR)
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence
* Experience in the residential and community services field and in the provision of care and support to children in 'out of home care'
