Support Worker – Nowra, Shoalhaven & South Coast NSW

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide person‐centred care and support to NDIS participants in their homes or community settings.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, medication prompts, and household tasks.
• Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals and engage in community and social activities.
• Observe, document, and report on client wellbeing, behaviours, and progress.
• Foster independence, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with families, coordinators, and healthcare professionals.
• Uphold confidentiality, professional standards, and organisational policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in disability, aged care, or community support (preferred).
• Solid understanding of NDIS principles, person‐centred care, and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and patience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high‐quality care.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check, and required immunisations.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
