Job Title: Information Access Coordinator
The Australian National University Library provides exceptional resources and services to support teaching, learning, and research activities.
We are seeking an experienced information professional to join our team as a primary point of contact between the library and Schools in humanities, social sciences, business and economics.
This role requires strengths in training, information literacy, supervising staff, and collection management. It demands analytical ability and excellent communication skills.
To be successful, you must demonstrate your ability to liaise with research library clients, develop and deliver generic and in-curricular information literacy sessions and understand the academic library environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support and guidance to academics, students, and researchers in effectively accessing and utilising library resources
* Develop and deliver generic and in-curricular information literacy sessions
* Liaise with research library clients and School staff to promote library services and resources
* Supervise staff and contribute to the development of collection management policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
* Masters or equivalent qualification in librarianship or a related field
* Proven experience in information literacy and training
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital libraries
