As a Doorways Case Worker, you will be part of a team that provides holistic financial support to individuals and families seeking short-term financial assistance and ongoing financial management support services.
You will work collaboratively with other teams to deliver an integrated approach to supporting our clients, building relationships within the community to identify local resources and needs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assessment of community members' specific needs, strengths, and identification of interrelated issues and needs
* Development of high-quality case plans with community members to identify achievable goals using a strength-based approach
* Provision of effective support and services to people experiencing disadvantage and financial hardship
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. Key qualifications and skills include:
* Minimum qualification of Diploma in relevant discipline (e.g. Community Services Work)
* Demonstrable experience in working with disadvantaged community members to assist them to affect positive change in their lives
* Ability to motivate and guide others to help them achieve their goals
