If the answer is yes, then MCVA has a suitable position for you? You will spend time shopping, going for a drive, having lunch or coffee or just staying at home with your client and having a chat. Occasionally, you may be required to attend medical appointments, accompany to rehab or do water therapy.
Although a fun and enjoyable role, it is an important one. Each week you are ensuring your clients are safe and well and this is an important aspect of the job. The position requires a fully insured and registered vehicle which is suitable for the elderly to enter and exit. The successful applicant also requires at least a certificate 3 in ageing, individual support, community service or disability. Previous applicants need not apply.
