About the Role Design, build and optimise backend services using Node.js, TypeScript and modern JavaScript patterns.
Develop and maintain APIs, microservices and distributed systems with a strong focus on scalability and performance.
Work across Linux environments, troubleshooting issues across networking, services and runtime layers.
Contribute to architectural planning, technical decision making and solution design.
Identify performance bottlenecks, resolve production incidents and lead root cause analysis.
Implement testing, CI/CD practices, containerisation and modern DevOps workflows.
Collaborate with engineering leads to uplift coding standards, documentation and engineering maturity.
About You Experienced Senior Full Stack or Backend Engineer with deep Node.js and TypeScript capability.
Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals, networking, debugging and performance optimisation.
Confident building APIs, microservices and distributed architectures at production scale.
Skilled in testing, automation, CI/CD, containerisation and cloud ready engineering practices.
Able to navigate complex incidents, trace issues across multiple layers and deliver stable, maintainable solutions.
Collaborative communicator who enjoys pairing with other engineers and contributing to technical leadership.
Passionate about solving complex problems and writing clean, well structured code.
