Canning Medical Centre is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The position is part-time with the flexibility to cover sick leave and annual leave. The practice offers a comprehensive range of General Practice services, including BUPA immigration medicals.

Responsibilities
* Welcome and assist patients with enquiries and appointments
* Answer and respond to telephone enquiries in a courteous and professional manner
* Accurately process patient payments via cash, EFTPOS, and direct bill transactions
* Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient and practice recordsi>
* Support the day-to-day operations of the medical centre
Qualifications & Experience
* Exceptional Customer Service: Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
* Meticulous Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in documentation, appointment scheduling, and filing
* Strong Computer Skills: Proficiency in using medical software is essential
* Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive and proactive approach to work
* Prior Experience: Previous experience in an accredited general practice is preferred
* Software Proficiency: Experience using Best Practice software is a significant advantage
* Relevant Experience: Retail experience may be beneficial
