About the role
5. Responsible for the managing the care of all patients allocated to current department in consultation with the responsible Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.
6. Actively contributes to the continuous quality improvement and continuous education activities.
7. Work under supervision of HOU and senior consultant staff attached to the Upper GI Unit.
8. Maintain active relationships with consultant staff.
9. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
10. Participate in the supervision and teaching of junior medical staff and medical students.
11. Initiate and develop research projects
Qualifications
MBBS or equivalent degree which can be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
