This is not just an events role. It sits at the centre of resident retention, precinct activation and long-term tenancy strategy within a large-scale residential living asset. Working directly with the General Manager, you will design and deliver a structured community engagement strategy that strengthens connection, enhances resident experience and supports occupancy stability. In Living Sectors and Build to Rent, occupancy and community drives performance. This position ensures residents stay longer, renew leases and feel connected to where they live.
The Experience You'll Build Here
You will take ownership of the end-to-end community and events program across a significant residential development. This includes:
* Designing and executing an annual activation calendar
* Coordinating everything from informal resident gatherings and weekly activations through to large-scale precinct events
* Managing suppliers, contractors and on-site event staffing
* Overseeing event marketing and resident communications
* Liaising with local authorities regarding permits, licensing and responsible service requirements
* Managing budgets and ensuring events align with broader operational objectives
* Measuring engagement levels and tracking impact on retention
The Perfect Fit
You understand that in operational residential assets, community is a strategic lever. You may come from:
* Hotel, hospitality or precinct event management
* Resident experience role within a BTR, Lifestyle or mixed use environments
* Property marketing or activation roles
You will bring:
* Proven experience delivering events end-to-end
* Strong project management capability
* Confidence liaising with councils and regulatory bodies
* Budget awareness and commercial thinking
* Excellent communication skills and strong onsite presence
* A natural ability to build trust with residents and stakeholders
