You'll most likely be working in rural areas across NSW and be required to work 10–12-hour days.
You will receive a generous living away from home allowance whilst travelling along with working alongside an inclusive site team.As most the locations will be rural, the majority of our team have their own caravans to sleep in as there is not usually any local accommodation around.The ideal candidate will thoroughly enjoy working away in site teams or be based in regional NSW and be to commute to project sites.The position will be assisting in the installation of Optic Fibre cables for the Telstra network on the Inter City Fibre Network (ICF) project.What you'll be doing:Rod, Rope & Hauling – hauling multiple cables by hand & machinery, quality checks.Civil activities – repair blockages, operate plant and equipment such as dozer, excavator, vacuum trucks, winches, mobile cranes and HR trucks.Labouring duties – cut and repair fences, undertake excavation using hand and mechanical methods.What you'll need:MandatoryCurrent Construction White cardHaving any of the following tickets is beneficial but not essential:Current, HR Heavy Rigid truck licenseOperator & VOC ExcavatorCurrent senior first aid certificateWork safety at heights.High Risk License,Vehicle loading crane.About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
