Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for increasing sales, product ranging and presence in store as well as building strong business partnerships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Enhance the customer experience through the implementation of CRC strategic plans
* You will be responsible for territory plans that optimise sales opportunities and meet annual sales objectives
* Manage a portfolio of customers across the industrial, automotive and consumer markets
* Intrastate travel managing regional customers (approx 2-4 night's away per month)
* Attendance at customer tradeshows and events
* Maintain, develop and leverage strong relationships to gain improvements across ranging, distribution and volume
* Deliver sustainable customer satisfaction through contact and engagement
* Provide exceptional customer service, technical support, problem solving and product training
* Execution of new product launches and promotional plans
* Planning and presenting internal reports on your territory, goals and key initiatives
* Identify and support new opportunities that align to CRC's strategic growth and future business plans
* Communicate and engage across key internal functional areas to achieve required deliverables
About you:
* Proven field sales experience managing a variety of large national and smaller independent retailers and merchants across the industrial, automotive, or consumer markets
* Ability to manage time and competing priorities
* Excellent negotiation skills and strong customer service ethics
* You will be an excellent written and verbal communicator
* Aptitude to influence and close sales
* Energetic and engaging with a positive approach
* Natural ability to hunt new business opportunities and be a natural problem solver
* Ability to listen actively and translate customer needs into business solutions
* Outstanding interpersonal skills: able to forge new working relationships and work collaboratively with all stakeholders
* Very ambitious, motivated and committed to continual personal and professional development
* Driven by system and processes with exposure to CRM tools
* You can be trusted to work in a highly autonomous role
* Competency with the MS suite- Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams presenting skills.
* Prior experience using CRM software preferred
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role with technical knowledge preferred
