* Permanent full-time
* Based at either the Koroit, Mortlake, Macarthur, or Naringal depots
* Nine day fortnight
Working within council's operations department, this role is a key member of the construction team, operating any of the council's following vehicles: tandem drive cartage truck, tandem drive machinery float, truck and dog trailer and tandem drive semi water tanker and other vehicles as directed to assist in council's maintenance and construction programs.
To be eligible for one of these positions you will require
Qualifications
Essential
* A current driver licence with HC endorsement.
* Employee working with children check.
Experience
Essential
Experience in the operation of large trucks under a broad range of conditions.
Key selection criteria 1
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Key selection criteria 2
Basic written and verbal skills.
