Overview
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Maintenance Manager seeking a leadership role in a company committed to quality, safety, and service? A leading Tasmanian plumbing company, recognised for its commitment to service, is looking for a dedicated professional to oversee its maintenance operations.
Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate general plumbing and maintenance work, including overseeing emergency and preventative maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
* Provide experience and detailed support to plumbers before major works, including prestart safety checks, resource allocation, and material management.
* Ensure all work adheres to company standards, local codes, and regulations, conducting inspections and maintaining detailed records.
* Act as a senior point of contact for clients, promptly addressing issues and collaborating with other divisions for a seamless client experience.
About you
You will have worked in a similar role previously and, being a qualified plumber, you will be able to provide solutions to technical queries as they arise.
To be considered for this role you must
* Hold Certificate III in Plumbing
* Have a minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role
* Have strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and relevant Plumbing & Building codes, legislation, and regulations
* Have the ability to lead a team and demonstrate positive team-building skills
* Demonstrated sound analytical and problem solving and decision making skills
