This is a Permanent Part Time or Fixed Term Part Time appointment at 38 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies throughout the health service. If the successful applicant declines or vacates the advertised vacancy, the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both options remain valid for twelve (12) months from the date when the recruitment decision is endorsed.
Position Profile: Provides professional leadership, governance, coordination, and management of Speech Pathology services at Bunbury Hospital and Community services across all clinical areas and programs in accordance with WACHS South West policies and guidelines. Manages Speech Pathology staff under the Director of Allied Health at Bunbury Hospital and Community services; coordinates duties and manages performance to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, and high-quality Speech Pathology services. Leads the planning and implementation of strategic workforce initiatives and opportunities for teaching, training, and research.
