Are you a skilled Portfolio Planning & Controls Analyst looking for your next long‐term contract? We are seeking a detail‐oriented professional with a background in engineering, utilities, and energy sector experience to join a major organisation for a 12‐month engagement.
What You Will Do:
* Manage integrated portfolio schedules, ensuring alignment with program schedules and maintaining rigorous re‐baselining governance.
* Oversee dependency registers to monitor cross‐program and external dependencies while maintaining a confirmed portfolio milestone roadmap.
* Conduct portfolio resource capacity and utilisation analysis to support effective resource planning across the organisation.
* Assure portfolio and schedule data integrity through regular reconciliations, QA sign‐offs, and maintained data standards.
* Deliver Power BI enhancements and monthly KPI dashboards to provide clear visibility into portfolio performance.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
* A Diploma in Project Management or Business coupled with significant experience in an engineering, transmission utility, or IT environment.
* Proven expertise in planning and scheduling, including milestone management and critical path analysis.
* Strong knowledge of diverse project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, and Waterfall.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools, specifically MS Project, Excel, and Visio.
* Demonstrated experience in independent assurance or oversight roles within large, complex transformational programmes.
