A leading enterprise brand in Australia is seeking a Data Visualisation Specialist to join their analytics function on a 12-month contract. You'll play a key role in uplifting how the business accesses, interprets, and acts on data through high-quality dashboards, reporting assets, and data storytelling.
This role suits someone who loves turning complex datasets into intuitive, visually compelling insights that influence real-world decisions.
What You'll Do
* Design, build and enhance dashboards and visual analytics across key business units.
* Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical questions and actionable outputs.
* Partner with stakeholders across operations, product, digital and finance teams to understand reporting needs.
* Ensure data visualisation best practice, accessibility, and consistency across all reporting assets.
* Work closely with data engineers and analysts to improve data quality, pipelines, and model reliability.
* Drive data literacy across the business through education, documentation, and storytelling.
What You Bring
* 2-5+ years in BI, data visualisation or analytics roles.
* Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modelling, performance tuning).
* Solid experience with Tableau for dashboard development and data storytelling.
* Ability to build dashboards that balance clarity, aesthetics and performance.
* Solid SQL skills and confidence working with large datasets.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity for non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience working in medium-large corporate environments (telco experience advantageous but not essential).
