Position Overview
As an Apprentice Boat Builder, you will embark on an exciting career path, learning the art and science of boat building from our experienced craftsmen. This full‐time apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‐on experience, develop valuable skills, and grow within a reputable company. You will be involved in various stages of boat construction, including design, assembly, and finishing, ensuring every vessel meets our exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the construction of high‐quality boats, following detailed plans and specifications.
* Learn and apply various boat building techniques, including fiberglass layup, assembly, and finishing.
* Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools and machinery.
* Collaborate with experienced team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
* Participate in continuous training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
