Coordinate activities and provide advice, direction, and day-to-day supervision of the local medical recruitment and administrative team of the Clinical Management Unit.
The Team:
Based in Launceston, the team within the Office of the Executive Director Medical Services (EDMS) undertakes junior medical officer (JMO) and locum recruitment, provides credentialing services, allocates and rosters JMOs and locums, and offers medical education and workforce support across Hospitals North.
The Role:
Coordinate and lead activities of the Office of the EDMS Hospitals North.
Provide direction to staff and supervise the Office's administrative functions.
Assist the EDMS with JMO and locum recruitment, allocation, rostering, credentialing of medical officers, and medical education and workforce support activities.
Undertake quality improvement activities to ensure processes adhere to legislative provisions and policies.
Liaise and communicate with Hospitals North teams, services, and other stakeholders as required.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, starting from 2 June 2025.
Hours are negotiable.
Applicants should note that the selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for up to twelve months.
Salary:$98,255 to $103,069 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation contribution.
Salary in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
