About the Role and Team
We have a new opportunity for an experienced workers' compensation lawyer or associate to join our rapidly growing Insurance practice, based in our Darwin office.
The Insurance WA team is a defendant insurance legal team, working across Statutory Insurance matters, including workers' compensation, recoveries and compulsory third-party matters.
This is a hands-on role with opportunities for learning, development and progression, and the chance to work with interesting clients and partners.
About You
Between 3 and 5 years of post-admission experience within Workers' Compensation
Ideally experience on the defendant side; we will also consider candidates with a plaintiff background who are keen to move into a defendant practice
A genuine interest in contributing to the growth and success of our insurance practice in Darwin
Clear, concise legal writing skills
Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
The role involves providing specialist advice and representation in workers' compensation matters as part of a broader insurance team.
(Note: specific day-to-day duties are implied by the practice area and team structure in Darwin.)
Qualifications
Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years' post-admission experience in workers' compensation
