Job Title: Reliability Leader
This pivotal role is focused on enhancing equipment reliability, reducing costs, and embedding best practices across the site.
As the Reliability Leader, you will oversee a team of seven engineers across reliability, condition monitoring, and lubrication disciplines. Your mission is to deliver expert technical services that improve asset performance and support strategic business outcomes.
You will lead safety, environmental, and operational security initiatives.
Key responsibilities include leading statutory inspections, driving quality assurance, and process development through audits and customer feedback. You will also manage inventory to align with operational needs.
Building team capability through coaching, development planning, and performance management is crucial in this role.
You will work closely with plant users, business unit representatives, and HR to ensure alignment with operational priorities.
A seasoned engineering professional with at least five years' experience in heavy industry and a passion for reliability and continuous improvement is essential.
You must have a degree in engineering, OH&S legislative training, strong leadership and coaching skills, and a commitment to a Goal Zero safety culture.
A deep understanding of reliability principles and condition monitoring, as well as excellent communication, planning, and decision-making abilities, are required.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office is necessary, along with a proactive attitude and the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.
