We are seeking a results-driven and safety-focused Production Manager to join a leading partner in is a global leader in building materials and construction solutions.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all facets of production, including pit development, crushing, screening, dispatch operations, and compliance with environmental and community standards.
You'll be leading a motivated production team to meet financial, environmental, and safety goals, ensuring that we deliver products that meet both forecasted demand and customer expectations - safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
About the role...
Production Operations
* Lead end-to-end daily production activities from pit through to product dispatch.
* Maximise utilisation and efficiency of both fixed and mobile plant assets.
* Oversee drilling, blasting, crushing, screening, and management of finished goods.
* Drive operational excellence through best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure full compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
* Foster and lead a zero-harm safety culture across all site operations.
* Enforce compliance with SHE policies, procedures, and legislative obligations.
* Monitor environmental performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Conduct toolbox talks, lead site audits, and manage incident reporting and investigations.
People Leadership
* Lead and mentor Production, Pit, and Maintenance teams to achieve performance targets.
* Support team development, training, and succession planning initiatives.
* Manage recruitment, workforce planning, and ensure adherence to IR/ER frameworks.
* Oversee contractor management, ensuring compliance with site safety and operational standards.
