* Small Business, Corporate and Law Group

About The Register
The register has been established to continue to meet our objectives for high priority and urgent projects and to attract talent with emerging skillsets to deliver new priorities.
The Treasury Critical Workforce Register is open to all members of the public at the APS Level 2 to Executive Level 2 classifications interested in a non-ongoing engagement, or in a temporary or permanent move (APS employees only). Your application will remain active until 31 January 2026. You may be contacted if your skills closely align to those needed and as the need arises.
* Current ongoing APS employees: Ongoing and temporary transfer opportunities may be offered, under section 26 of the Public Service Act 1999.
* Non-APS employees and those that do not hold an ongoing role within the APS: Non-ongoing opportunities may be offered with an initial engagement of up to 12 months, plus one extension of up to 6 months (totalling a maximum contract period of 18 months).
To Be Considered You Must
* be an Australian Citizen at the register closing date; and
* have a minimum Baseline security clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain)
Please note that this register is an expression of interest and does not guarantee an offer of employment.
Flexible working arrangements (such as remote work, part time work) will be considered on an individual basis, based on the operational requirement of the role and individual preferences.

* Priority areas of skills and experience
We strongly encourage you to register if you have any of the following skills and experience:
* Accounting: APS external budget specialists, management and financial accountants
* Finance: technical understanding of financial services/insurance/mortgage broker industry and financial sector regulatory frameworks
* Human Resources: workforce planning and data, recruitment and talent attraction
* ICT: business analysts, project managers, Dynamics/CRM developer experience and network engineers
* Legal: drafting consultation papers and legislation, undertaking regulatory assessments
* Data: analytical and statistical capabilities, data and trend analysis, statistical software and report preparation
* Policy: research and analysis, drafting reports and correspondence
* Communications: strategic communication and event management, managing internal and external communication content, delivering communications products to support business, graphic designer.
