Are you a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager seeking a leadership role in a company committed to quality, safety, and service? A leading Tasmanian plumbing company, recognised for its commitment to service, is looking for a dedicated professional to oversee its maintenance operations.
The Role
As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all plumbing systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, leading a team of technicians and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate general plumbing and maintenance work, including overseeing emergency and preventative maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
Provide experience and detailed support to plumbers before major works, including pre start safety checks, resource allocation, and material management.
Ensure all work adheres to company standards, local codes, and regulations, conducting inspections and maintaining detailed records.
Act as a senior point of contact for clients, promptly addressing issues and collaborating with other divisions for a seamless client experience.
About you
You will have worked in a similar role previously and being a qualified Plumber, you will be able to provide solutions to technical queries as they arise.
Qualifications
Hold Certificate III in Plumbing
Have a minimum of 8 years experience in a similar role
Have strong knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and relevant Plumbing & Building codes, legislation, and regulations.
Have the ability to lead a team and demonstrate positive team-building skills.
Demonstrated sound analytical and problem solving and decision making skills.
