Recruitment Manager | Engineering, IT & Supply Chain Specialist | Connecting unique clients to Engineering, IT & Supply Chain talent, to long game…
What would you do if you were handed the keys to a brand-new warehouse?
How would you shape the culture, the processes and the team from the ground up?
This is your chance to lead a site that’s only just opened its doors.
This is a 12-month contract with a strong vision to go permanent. For the right person, it’s an opportunity to prove your impact in the short term and step into a long-term leadership role.
Recently moving into its purpose-built, Kemps Creek facility. Complete with modern workspaces, multiple kitchens, break areas, an on-site gym, and even a rooftop with cooking facilities. It’s a site designed to give people a great place to work.
And now they need a strong Warehouse Manager to lead the team, drive performance and build a culture that matches the quality of the environment.
About the role
This role is all about leading the NSW warehouse operation across both day and afternoon shifts. With around 24 people on site, you’ll be the one responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
That means taking ownership of the team’s performance, making sure processes are followed, and embedding a strong safety-first culture throughout the site.
You’ll spend time developing your supervisors, team leaders, and casual staff, while also lifting capability across the workforce so that problems are solved quickly and accountability is clear.
Freight providers, Dangerous Goods compliance, and SAP WM are all part of the picture, so you’ll need to keep a close eye on the details while also setting the bigger picture direction.
And because this business is growing, with more acquisitions and systems on the horizon, you’ll have the opportunity to shape processes and make improvements that will future-proof the operation.
About you
You’re not the type of manager who hides away in an office.
You like to be on the floor, visible to your team, and ready to deal with challenges as they come up.
You’ve led sizeable warehouse operations before. Ideally in FMCG or a similarly fast-paced environment. You know how to get the best out of people while keeping performance, compliance, and safety on track.
You’ll bring a practical understanding of SAP WM, enough to guide your team and make sure it’s being used properly.
You’re also confident in managing Dangerous Goods environments and have the leadership presence to build both discipline and trust within your workforce.
Above all, you’re someone who doesn’t just identify problems. You create solutions, follow them through, and build a team culture where everyone understands their role and takes pride in delivering results.
About the organisation
You’ll be joining a global leader in high-performance building materials, specialising in flooring and tiling products.
The business is growing, with new acquisitions and systems on the horizon, which means ongoing opportunity for people who want to grow with it.
You’ll be based in a brand-new facility with standout amenities, modern equipment, and a supportive leadership team.
The role offers a generous salary package with bonuses of up to 20%, a Christmas shutdown and all the perks of a modern workplace, including on-site parking, an employee assistance program, and health and wellness facilities.
