Job Description
The project will focus on scaling up the experience of conjunctive management in the Nile basin region, optimizing the joint use of surface and groundwater in transboundary aquifers.
The concept note will consider the project concepts shared by Lake Victoria River basin commission and Kagera River Authority, addressing the interests of the three entities through consultation and engagement with senior management at NBI, Lake Victoria, and Kagera river authority.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a comprehensive concept note for the groundwater project phase two.
* Collaborate with senior management at NBI, Lake Victoria, and Kagera river authority to ensure alignment with project goals.
* Consult with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for scaling up 'conjunctive management'.

* Strong knowledge of groundwater management and conjunctive management principles.
