About the Role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality clinical education and support to our medical and allied health students. Key responsibilities include:
* Clinical Learning Experiences: Collaborate with clinical staff to design engaging learning activities that foster practical skills, critical thinking, and patient-centered care.
* Clinical Supervision and Mentoring: Provide guidance, feedback, and support to students during their clinical placements, ensuring they develop necessary competencies and professionalism.
* Curriculum Development and Review: Contribute to continuous improvement of the curriculum by incorporating evidence-based practices and clinical expertise.
* Assessment and Evaluation: Participate in assessing students' clinical performance and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and growth.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Relevant degree in healthcare and current registration in Queensland with clinical experience in reproductive and neonatal health.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with students, clinical staff, and academic colleagues.
* Passion for teaching and commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
* Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and create inclusive educational experiences.
