HR and WHS Coordinator
Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this position plays a key role in delivering HR, Workplace Health and Safety, and compliance support across the business. You will manage day-to-day HR coordination, WHS compliance, training, and systems administration, while also supporting broader office operations and improvement initiatives.

You will work closely with the Head of HR, Department Managers, and the wider leadership team. This role is highly collaborative, supporting employees at all levels and partnering with external providers, subcontractors, and regulators where required.

What Will You Be Doing?
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, inductions, and offboarding
* Create and update position descriptions, job ads, and HR policies
* Drive the annual performance appraisal process
* Maintain HRIS systems, workflows, and reporting
* Coordinate training calendars, compliance modules, and ELMO content
* Support employee engagement initiatives and HR projects
* Drive WHS compliance across local, state, and federal requirements
* Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident reporting
* Maintain HSEQ systems, registers, and documentation
* Manage licences, medicals, first aid, and contractor compliance
* Prepare monthly HR and HSEQ reports for management
* Support return-to-work programs
* Oversee document control, QA systems, and SOP reviews
* Provide general office and administrative support as required
What Do You Need?
* Qualifications in Human Resources, WHS, or Business Administration
* 3 to 5 years' experience in HR, WHS, or office administration – workshop or engineering experience preferred
* Strong HRIS and systems administration experience
* Sound understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks
* High attention to detail and document control focus
* Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
* Safety-conscious mindset
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement
