About The Role And About You

Greater Dandenong is an innovative and award-winning Council which sets leading standards for Immunisation programming. We are looking for candidates who enjoy working with diverse cultural communities and age groups, due to the variety of programs run on behalf of the Council. These positions offer applicants an opportunity to work with the Immunisation team, providing immunisation services to families living or being educated in the City of Greater Dandenong.

Requirements

- An accredited Nurse Immuniser, and ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience working in immunisation.
- Maintain current (and ongoing) valid Victorian Driver’s License and use of own car, as well as a current Working with Children Check supplied prior to offer of employment and commencement.
- Be willing to undertake a Police Check prior to offer of employment.

The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
