Paint Shop Foreman
Basic Salary: up to £45,000 (DOE)
Working Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
Location: Northampton
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations within the paint shop, managing workload and productivity.
* Supervise and support Paint Sprayers and Preppers to ensure work is completed to a high standard.
* Ensure all vehicles are prepared and painted in line with manufacturer and company standards.
* Mix and check paint to ensure accurate colour matching.
* Carry out quality control checks on completed work, ensuring no defects.
* Maintain health & safety procedures and ensure compliance within the workshop.
* Liaise with management and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership experience within a bodyshop paint department.
* Highly skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician with experience stepping into or currently in a supervisory role.
* Extensive knowledge of water-based paints and modern repair techniques.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, working to a high standard.
* City & Guilds qualification or equivalent is preferred.
