We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This pivotal role will oversee the delivery of cutting-edge Wi-Fi, smart city, and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, providing technical excellence, project oversight, and ensuring the successful execution of end-to-end solutions. The role can be based in NSW / VIC / QLD. It will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* The role will have a wide range of responsibilities, primarily but not limited to:
* Delivering Wi-Fi, Smart City, and IoT projects, including planning, supporting design, and implementation.
* Conducting site surveys, developing solution designs, and creating comprehensive project documentation.
* Providing technical input to project teams for Smart City, IoT and Wi-Fi network solutions.
* Contributing to multiple projects across Australia in order to meet required timelines, delivering within defined scope and budget.
* Assisting in the development of maintenance plans for Wi-Fi, smart city, and IoT solutions
* Perform network and IoT device configuration, staging, and testing.
* Liaising and organising suppliers, customers, and contractors for service provisioning activities, including internet and network installations (e.g., NBN, fiber).
* Working with onsite installation crews, testing, and maintenance activities to ensure quality and compliance with WHS standards.
* Effectively transferring projects to NOC for ongoing operations and management.
* Engaging with stakeholders, including clients, to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
Technical Skills and Tertiary Qualifications:
* Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar capacity
* Holding degree in Electrical or ICT Engineering or Equivalent
* Experience in network and IoT device configuration and staging
* Experience in technology implementation for construction and property development projects would be ideal
* Strong project management skills, including scope, schedule, and budget management.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on approach to technical challenges.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Remuneration
Remuneration levels will be based upon the applicant's qualifications and level of experience.
