Overview
We are seeking a talented Architect/Building Designer to join our team in Melbourne, VIC on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality architectural drafting support to our growing design projects. Immediate start. Working remotely (Optional). Flexible 4-5 days a week.
What you\'ll be doing
- Producing 2D and 3D detailed architectural drawings, plans, and design documents using Revit software
- Assisting with the development of project specifications and construction documentation
- Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of design projects
- Participating in site visits and meetings to gather information and understand project requirements
- Staying up-to-date with the latest architectural design trends, building codes, and industry regulations
What we\'re looking for
- A degree or diploma in Architecture, Building Design, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in architectural drafting or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and well-organised drawings
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
