We are looking for a well rounded and experienced Leading hand to lead our civil works and stormwater crew.
Our projects are from North Brisbane to Gympie with the majority between Caloundra and Coolum. So you are home everynight and weekend - minimal to no Saturday works and a good work/life balance with 40 hours Monday to Friday with 4-8hours overtime on average.
The type of tasks and activities include:
* Civil Stormwater works - pits, manholes, pipe
* RCP, Blackmax/stormpro pipes
* Read and interpret plans
* Site setout and management
* manage quality standards, inspections and the like
* liaising with Client site supervisors as needed
* work with our supervisor and construction manager to coordinate schedules
* management of crew of 2-4 staff as needed
* complate daily prestarts, site diaries and the like on our app
* excavation works, laying of pipes, backfilling
* takeoffs of materials
* Assisting and completing other civil works as required such as concreting, headwalls, rock pitching, erosion and sediment controls and the like.
This is a hands on role, requiring you to be in the trenches so to speak. You will have several years experience in civil works and civil stormwater works.
You will be easy going, hardworking, take pride in your works and enjoy working with others.
