Our services include two major medical centres, a dedicated mental health unit and an on‐site cancer centre with radiation oncology, radiology practice and pathology laboratory. Your new role as CSSD Sterilisation Technician:
Due to ongoing growth in our peri‐operative service, Maitland Private Hospital is seeking qualified and experienced CSSD Sterilisation Technicians to join our friendly, dynamic and supportive team. Permanent, part‐time and casual opportunities are available.
About you (essential criteria):
* Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
* Experience as an Instrument Technician with current knowledge of all aspects of sterilising services.
* Experience in a CSSD department with cleaning, decontaminating, sorting and assembling surgical instrument trays.
* Team player with strong collaborative interpersonal skills and well‐developed verbal and written communication skills.
* Australian permanent resident status or equivalent work rights.
* Immunisation evidence and serology report in accordance with NSW Health.
* Familiarity with desktop applications, including WebPAS and UKG (Kronos) is highly regarded.
* Experience within a private hospital setting and/or understanding of the private hospital landscape.
