Female Service Manager – NDIS Disability Services (SIL & Complex Care)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and entrepreneurial Service Manager to oversee multiple Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and lead the delivery of high‐quality support services.

This is a key leadership position responsible for managing 5–10 SIL homes with 24/7 staffing, supporting participants with complex needs, high‐intensity supports, and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) requirements.

You will take ownership of day‐to‐day operations, staff leadership, and service delivery, while also identifying opportunities to improve systems, grow services, and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
* Operational Leadership
o Oversee daily operations across multiple SIL homes (5–10 houses)
o Ensure safe, consistent, and high‐quality 24/7 support delivery
o Manage and coordinate rosters across all participants and homes
o Address shift gaps, last‐minute changes, and workforce planning proactively
o Support participants with complex needs, high‐intensity care, behavioural support plans, etc.
o Ensure supports align with NDIS goals and individual care plans
o Supervise, mentor, and performance‐manage Disability Support Workers
o Promote a strong person‐centred and compliance‐driven culture
* Compliance & Quality Assurance
o Ensure services meet NDIS Practice Standards and audit requirements
o Oversee documentation, incident reporting, and risk management
o Work alongside allied health professionals and PBS practitioners
o Ensure implementation and monitoring of behaviour support strategies
* Stakeholder Engagement
o Build strong relationships with families, guardians, support coordinators, and external providers
* Problem Solving & Escalation Management
o Manage complex situations including staffing shortages, participant escalations, care risks and service risks
o Identify opportunities to expand services and improve operational systems
o Contribute to sustainable growth while maintaining high service quality
What We're Looking For
* Extensive experience managing SIL services and very complex participant needs
* Strong background in high‐intensity supports and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
* Proven ability to manage multiple SIL homes and large rosters
* Entrepreneurial mindset – able to think strategically, identify growth opportunities, and improve systems
* Solid understanding of NDIS compliance, audits, and reporting requirements
* Excellent leadership, decision‐making, and crisis management skills
* Highly organised with strong rostering and workforce coordination experience
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Diploma or higher in Disability, Community Services, or related field
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
