We currently employ over 2,000 personnel across various operations in our active market. Base award hourly rate for this role is $24.98 plus casual loading ($31.22 per hour). About the role We are seeking Catering Assistants to join the kitchen team in our client's aged care facilities located in Chapel Hill, QLD. Multiple shifts across Monday to Sunday (6.30am to 2.30pm & 4.00pm to 7.00pm) Weekend and Public Holiday Loadings apply. The successful applicant must have received, three doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine and provide a current Federal Police Check certificate or be willing to apply for one. Skills and experience Aged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary. Reliable and punctual Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines. Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients. The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen. Key Responsibilities Providing meal service to elderly residents Cleaning of kitchen, serveries and dining room set up. Adhering to and completing quality assurance documents Washing dishes and plating of meals Preparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchen Function set up and clear down. Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks.
