The Role: As Operations/Branch Manager at our Mildura site, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring production, safety, and customer expectations are consistently met. You'll lead a passionate team, support their development, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the site.
What You'll Do:
Lead and motivate a diverse high performing Production team.
Engage customers & the community by being the local face of the branch—deepen relationships with key customers and suppliers across Sunraysia.
Apply your business acumen to improve branch performance: grow sales, margin and profit.
People leadership: recruit, coach and lead a capable team; set clear priorities; build an inclusive and safety-first culture.
Operations: inventory/office workflows, scheduling, supplier management, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Champion WHS and quality standards.
Collaborate with national leaders to align with CMTP's growth strategy.
About You: We're Looking For An Experienced Leader With:
Demonstrated ability to engage with customers to identify their needs and be able offer solutions as required.
Proven experience in a hands-on environment; you're comfortable splitting time between the office and the factory.
Strong leadership and people-management skills.
A focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
A track record delivering good business performance.
Strong stakeholder skills with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Solid administration & systems capability (Microsoft 365 programs and good level of comfort with using computers).
Current driver's licence; able to travel as needed.
